SeaSplit is a next-generation marine robotics company based in Egypt, engineering advanced subsea and surface systems for a smarter, safer, and more connected ocean.
Founded by a team of engineers and entrepreneurs with a shared passion for innovation, SeaSplit is pioneering robotic technologies that bridge the gap between affordability and high performance. Our systems—ranging from autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) to intelligent surface platforms and embedded sensor networks—are designed to serve the needs of defense, offshore energy, environmental research, and critical infrastructure monitoring.
LocalRoots.GlobalVision
At SeaSplit, we believe Egypt has the talent and capability to lead the Arab region into the future of subsea autonomy. From our headquarters along the Mediterranean to our testing sites in the Gulf of Suez, we build for real-world conditions. Our approach combines in-house R&D, modular engineering, and deep regional insight to deliver scalable solutions for complex maritime challenges.
transform underwater exploration, offshore operations, and ocean sustainability.
SeaSplit designs and builds advanced subsea robotics, wireless communication systems, and autonomous infrastructure. Our innovations—from AUV garages to ADSCOM/MEDSCOM seabed stations—deliver measurable performance gains, reduce offshore risk, and unlock new operational capabilities.”
What Drives SeaSplit
SeaSplit exists to bring remote, unmanned Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) robotics to subsea asset integrity management — replacing manned vessels and divers with systems that are safer, more capable, and available on demand.
We’re building a digitally remote-operated and commanded fleet of sea-worthy unmanned vehicles, both surface and subsea, fully controllable by our people from the safety of onshore and offshore command centers.
Four technologies define how we get there: a resident, self-maintaining subsea robotics collective launched and serviced from our own floating unmanned platforms (REMORA); integrated IRM workflows built around automated anomaly detection and digital twin operations; a first-of-its-kind hybrid communication system pairing long range with high-speed bandwidth (ADSCOM + MEDSCOM); and a scalable subsea robotics edge-orchestration architecture — Surface Vehicle + Subsea Hub + AUV fleet — that unlocks coordinated, collective autonomy.
